Is Bicoastal a beach candle?

Bicoastal captures a coastal feel, but it's more refined than a typical beach candle. The briny saltwater and ambergris notes evoke the sea, while grapefruit and guaiac wood keep it elevated — less souvenir shop, more boutique hotel.

What formats does Bicoastal come in?

Bicoastal is available as a 10 oz candle, 20 oz candle, Reed Diffuser, and Niche Parfum.

Can I wear Bicoastal as a perfume?

Yes — Bicoastal is available as a Niche Parfum from Poured New York, letting you carry that grapefruit-ambergris-saltwater signature on your skin.

What is vegan ambergris and why is it in Bicoastal?

Vegan ambergris is a cruelty-free substitute for traditional ambergris (a whale-derived ingredient historically used in perfumery). It provides the same warm, musky, oceanic depth without any animal sourcing — consistent with Poured New York's commitment to vegan fragrances.

Who would like Bicoastal?

Bicoastal is for people who love fresh, aquatic fragrances that don't feel generic — coastal dwellers, frequent travelers, and anyone who appreciates a candle that smells simultaneously of the Pacific and the Atlantic.

This is difficult to write but I have to be honest because I always check reviews before buying. This candle has no scent throw whatsoever. Not hot or cold. Just nothing. I even moved it into my half bath which is the size of a small linen closet and I still can’t smell it even when it’s lit. I’m still giving it a 3 for the beautiful vessel and the quality of the wax, but I’m disappointed. It’s the first Poured candle that I haven’t been happy with, so I won’t write them off just yet. I’ll try again with a different scent.

Great scent! Fast shipping. Love Poured NY candles!

Beautiful scent!

Love this store and this scent which reminds us of when we were living bicoastal!
