Does Rural Roots actually smell like beets?

Yes — ruby beets are the opening note, contributing a distinctly earthy, slightly sweet, root-vegetable quality. Poured New York leans into this rather than sweetening it away, making Rural Roots one of the most genuinely unconventional fragrances in the collection.

What formats does Rural Roots come in?

Rural Roots is available as a 10 oz candle, 20 oz candle, and Reed Diffuser.

Is Rural Roots a good kitchen or dining room candle?

Rural Roots is a natural fit for a kitchen or dining room where food is celebrated — its farmers market character feels at home alongside cooking without competing with food aromas the way sweet or floral candles often do.

Who would like Rural Roots?

Rural Roots is for people who love the smell of the earth itself — gardeners, farmers market devotees, root-to-stem cooks, and anyone who finds most candles too sweet or synthetic. This is a candle for people who want something real.

Is Rural Roots a fall candle?

Rural Roots feels especially aligned with fall harvest season — beets, carrots, and coriander are the vegetables of autumn, and the fragrance captures that earthy, root-cellar energy perfectly. It's also wonderful in late summer when the harvest is at its peak.

Q: What does Rural Roots smell like?

Rural Roots smells like a harvest season farmers market — ruby beets and coriander open earthy and bright, tarragon adds an anise-like herbal lift, and wild carrots ground the whole composition in a cool, root-cellar earthiness. It's genuine, grounded, and unlike anything else in a candle aisle.
